Does MBS transmit claims electronically?
- Yes, to all companies are capable. About 95% of all claims we submit are transmitted electronically. There are still a few payers that only accept claims on paper.
Does MBS submit secondary and tertiary claims?
- Secondary and tertiary submissions are included in our service.
How quickly can we begin submitting claims?
- Depending on your situation, your clinic can begin submitting claims between 48 hours and six weeks. To ensure that your cash flow is not interrupted during the transition, we will work with you to create a transition plan based on your individual needs and circumstances.
How can I see my collections have increased?
- MBS provides detailed, easy to read monthly reporting. Daily or weekly reporting is available upon request. In addition our Managers are always available to discuss goals and revenue cycle opportunities.
Should we or our current billing service continue to work our prior billings once MBS begins?
- We prefer that you continue to work--post payments and re-bill--your existing accounts receivable. If this is not possible, we can handle them.
How often are claims processed?
- All charges received are entered the very next business day.
Where does my money go?
- We prefer to direct payments to MBS for posting however we are flexible.
How to we get our information to you?
- MBS accepts information via interface, scanning, faxing or priority mail.
